Courses and their prices
Training means creating situations in which the dog can do a lot of things right.
Puppy training / animal protection dogs
1) Private lesson before or after the dog moves in.
Appointment upon agreement.
Cost: 90 CHF per 60 minutes (A subscription of 3 training courses: 200 CHF, valid for 1 month)
Costs: 60 CHF for people in training, unemployed or otherwise financially vulnerable
Restriction (A subscription of 3 training courses: 150 FR ., valid 1 month)
2) In the group from March 2024
Thursday: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m
2:00-3:00 p.m
Cost: 30 CHF
The training takes place at various locations (meadow, forest, parking lot, hall) in Bern city and Münsingen, in very small groups. Maximum number of puppies 4.
Subjects:

Building and strengthening the human-dog relationship

Relaxation training (the be-all and end-all for every dog of every age)

Identify and refine appropriate rewards for each situation

Basic training: name, marker, recall, waiting, eye contact, walking on a leash, Lassi, relaxed looking (e.g. at a cat), etc.

Allow touching and holding in a relaxed manner

Medical Training

Body awareness: getting to know different floor structures and equipment, promoting self-confidence

Bite inhibition
-
Puppy-friendly concentration exercises to promote impulse control and frustration tolerance from an early age

Preparation for various everyday situations such as the city, other animals, public transport, vet, children and other concerns according to your demand and everyday life

Learn dog language through contact with older dogs. Contact only takes place when the puppies have a secure bond with their people. Between two individuals under observation so that the puppies have enough time to perceive the other dog's signals and react accordingly.

How does the dog communicate? Together we learn to understand the dog. What is my dog showing right now? Relaxation, joy, skipping behavior, avoidance, appeasement, excitement or threats?

How can I help my dog communicate with other dogs?

The dog communicates through its spoken language, gestures, facial expressions, touch and scent marks. It is up to us to understand it and respond accordingly.

How do you deal with conflict?

How do you support the other human-dog team?

How do I organize dog encounters? When does it have to be interrupted?

Organize social contacts at a distance.

Organize dog encounters on a leash without allowing conflicts to arise.

Organize controlled dog encounters in the free range. When is play really play? When and how will it be interrupted?
Private lesson
Monday - Sunday:

A private lesson usually lasts 60 minutes.

The first three lessons for newly adopted dogs from an animal shelter in Switzerland or abroad are free.
The training takes place at different locations depending on the topic.

The meetings take place every Friday, Saturday and/or afternoon (depending on demand and the weather :).

Possible regions and environments are: Emmental, Münsingen, Bremgarten near Bern, Burgdorf, Thun.

Shared day trips, longer hikes and other seasonal events not only offer the opportunity for dogs to make friends, but also allow people to get to know each other.
This event usually takes place once a month.
Cost: 30 Fr plus travel costs and food.
Maximum number: 6-10 dogs (depending on program)
Every second dog costs an additional 10 Fr and must be registered in advance in order not to exceed the maximum number of participating dogs.
Family members and friends are warmly welcome!
Please note that dogs with a high level of arousal and strong signs of stress cannot participate on public transport, around other people and dogs. The same applies to puppies.
